Kevin Hickman, Senior Vice President – Multifamily and Retail

Kevin Hickman serves as PegasusAblon’s Senior Vice President of Multifamily and Retail. In this role he is responsible for the asset management of multiple PegasusAblon retail and office assets.  In addition, Kevin is the project manager of the Ablon at Frisco Square multifamily development, a 250 unit project.

Prior to joining Pegasus Ablon Mr. Hickman served as a Senior Asset Manager for Sarofim Realty Advisors for over eight years where he managed a diverse retail portfolio and worked on a ground-up mixed-use development in the Knox Street District.  In this role, he was responsible for the overall operations of the portfolio including budgeting, leasing strategy, capital planning, hold/sell analysis, and disposition.   In addition to his asset management responsibilities, he spearheaded the creation of the Knox Street Public Improvement District and was instrumental in getting Knox Street nominated to the City of Dallas Complete Streets Initiative which ultimately led to securing $735,000 in funding from the 2012 Capital Bond Program.

Prior to his position at Sarofim, Mr. Hickman served as an Assistant Vice President with Bank of America where he evaluated and assisted with the analysis, syndication, structuring, and execution of bank debt with credit facilities ranging from $100M to $1B.  Prior to his position at Bank of America, Mr. Hickman served as an equity research analyst for a large cap growth fund at both Banc of America Securities and Lehman Brothers.

Education: Mr. Hickman earned a BBA from University of North Texas and an MBA with a focus in Finance and Accounting from SMU’s Cox School of Business.

Memberships and Civic Involvement: Kevin is a board member of the McKinney Avenue Transit Authority, a member of ICSC, and is also actively involved with the Oak Lawn Committee.
